How it works
Add your logo or text
Upload a transparent PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG, or type your own text. Design the front and back separately.
Pick your finish and colour
Choose a premium flocked or standard foam windshield, then pick your base colour. Colours from uploaded media are automatically detected and offered as a custom job, or swap them for the next nearest colour.
Review and order
Check both sides in the final preview, then place your order. We make it by hand, ready for your microphone.

Premium flocked windshields
A foam windshield with a beautifully soft, velvety flocked finish. A carefully controlled electrostatic flocking process applies fine fibres to the surface, giving rich vibrant colour and a refined, professional look that holds up on camera.
Standard foam windshields
The classic foam finish: soft and springy, with a fine, porous surface rather than a velvet-like coating. A simpler, lower-cost way to brand your mic.
Made to fit popular studio mics
Our custom windshields are designed to fit a range of popular studio microphones, including the Neumann TLM 103, Neumann U87, Aston Spirit and other microphones of similar dimensions. Don’t see yours? Get in touch, we’re always happy to explore new fits.
No minimum order
One is a perfectly good number. Order a single branded mic muff for yourself, or a set for your whole team. Larger orders get lower per-item prices; however as a small batch maker, bigger orders do need a little extra making time.

What is a branded mic windshield?
A foam windshield that fits over a microphone to soften plosives, breath noise and wind noise. With your logo or design installed on an audibly transparent flocked print, it puts your station, show or brand in every photo and video of your mic.
Which microphones do muffly windshields fit?
Popular studio microphones such as the Neumann TLM 103, U87 and Aston Spirit, plus other mics of similar dimensions. If you’re not sure, email us and we’ll help.
What artwork can I use?
Transparent PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG images, or text in a choice of fonts. Colours are automatically detected from your artwork and can be switched out for any readily available print colours. Custom colours outside our standard print options may need a quick custom quote.
Can I order more than one?
Yes. There’s no minimum order, and the price per windshield drops as you order more. The studio shows your live price as you change the quantity.
Who makes them?
muffly is a small handmade operation in Yorkshire, UK. Every windshield (muff) is made by hand to order.
